About The Position

The Creative Pipeline Specialist is a key creative production expert within Adobe's Forward Deployed Engineering organization. This role focuses on designing workflows, templates, and creative processes to enable AI-powered content pipelines for creative teams. The specialist acts as a bridge between the needs of creative teams and the solutions built by engineers, possessing a deep understanding of creative production realities, such as specific layer structures for MOGRT templates, regional brand variations in Workfront approval flows, and the practical constraints of After Effects render pipelines. The goal is to transform technically sound systems into user-friendly tools for creative professionals by providing essential creative domain expertise.

Requirements

  • Deep creative production experience (3-7+ years) in creative production, post-production, motion graphics, content operations, or creative technology, with experience in agencies, studios, or in-house creative teams producing content at scale.
  • Fluency in creative tools with deep hands-on expertise in a combination of: After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, InDesign, Figma, Cinema 4D, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent, at a practitioner level.
  • Workflow design thinking, including experience designing or optimizing content production pipelines and understanding of DAM systems, asset management, review/approval workflows, versioning, localization, and multi-channel delivery.
  • Experience actively using generative AI in creative work (e.g., Firefly, Midjourney, Runway, ComfyUI), with the ability to direct AI tools for production-quality outputs and understand their limitations.
  • AI-native mindset, including using AI assistants (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor) to accelerate work, comfort with learning new tools quickly, and teaching others.
  • Customer-facing confidence, with experience working directly with clients, stakeholders, or cross-functional teams, including running creative workflow workshops.
  • Scrappy and resourceful problem-solving abilities, including building workarounds when ideal tools are unavailable and creating processes independently.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using AI coding agents (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot) to build creative tools or automations, even without being a traditional developer.
  • Experience with production automation tools like Workfront, Workfront Fusion, ExtendScript, or expression scripting in After Effects.
  • Experience acting as a liaison between creative and engineering teams at a studio or agency.
  • Familiarity with Adobe's creative and enterprise tooling ecosystem (Creative Cloud, Firefly, AEM, Workfront, Frame.io).
  • A portfolio or examples demonstrating creative production work at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Design creative workflows, mapping end-to-end content production pipelines from creative brief to asset delivery, and identifying opportunities for AI to accelerate, automate, or enhance each step.
  • Build reusable creative templates (InDesign, After Effects, Photoshop, Figma), asset structures, and production frameworks that can scale across customer engagements.
  • Translate creative team requirements into engineering specifications and engineering capabilities into creative team language, acting as an interpreter.
  • Own creative quality assurance (QA), validating that AI-generated outputs meet brand standards, creative quality bars, and production specifications.
  • Enable customer creative teams by training them on AI-enhanced workflows, building documentation, and running workshops to help them adopt new tools without disrupting existing processes.
  • Inform product direction by capturing the needs, gaps, friction points, and unmet needs of creative professionals using AI tools, and feeding this information directly to the Product team.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive benefits programs
