The Creative Manager will serve as the operational hub for the creative department, triaging and prioritizing daily requests across DTC and B2B under the direction of the Creative Director. This role involves partnering with internal stakeholders to refine briefs, ensuring team bandwidth aligns with departmental priorities, and collaborating with the User Acquisition (UA) team to translate performance data into actionable ad concepts. The manager will own the production lifecycle for all non-motion and down-funnel assets, act as the primary creative lead for external web and ASO agencies, provide tactical design and copy feedback, and engage in hands-on design and execution when needed. Additionally, the role includes providing daily tactical creative review, managing and coaching a team of graphic designers and copywriters, and continuously improving internal workflows and asset management.

Requirements

  • Deep technical knowledge of the production requirements for diverse assets (web, ads, ASO, emails etc).
  • High proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
  • Experience with gen-AI tools (e.g., Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Google Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude for creative workflows) and a genuine curiosity for adopting new AI technologies.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with internal teams.
  • Team leadership, mentorship, and process optimization.
  • Excel at identifying bottlenecks and finding ways to get work done, whether that’s reprioritizing a list or doing the design yourself.
  • Creative partner, agency, and vendor management.
  • Strategic resource planning & creative operations management.
  • 5+ years of creative experience, with at least 3 years leading teams in a high-velocity, performance-driven environment (either in-house or agency).
  • Proven success driving creative excellence across multiple channels (performance, social, influencer, brand, and CTV) in a high-growth environment.
  • Strong understanding of creative testing, iteration, and performance data analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor teams and build scalable creative processes.
  • Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, Advertising, or related creative discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the operational hub for the department, triaging and prioritizing the daily intake of requests across DTC and B2B under the direction of the Creative Director.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to refine briefs and ensure team bandwidth in Asana is always aligned with the departmental priorities set by leadership.
  • Partner with the UA team to translate performance data into actionable ad concepts.
  • Collaborate on the "creative loop," testing and iterating on hooks, value props and bodies to ensure our assets are constantly evolving and resonating with our audience.
  • Own the production lifecycle for all non-motion and down-funnel assets, from ads and sweepstakes to email campaigns.
  • Serve as the primary creative lead for our external web and ASO agencies, providing tactical design and copy feedback to ensure every touchpoint is cohesive, compliant, and optimized for conversion.
  • Personally handle some design tasks, jump into Figma to polish layouts, or troubleshoot files whenever the team needs an extra hand to get a high priority project across the finish line.
  • Provide daily feedback to designers and copywriters, ensuring every asset is clear, legally compliant, and built to truly resonate with our players and publishers.
  • Manage and coach a talented team of graphic designers and copywriters, fostering a culture of curiosity, rapid iteration, and accountability.
  • Continuously improve internal workflows to enable faster delivery.
  • Manage our asset libraries and templates to ensure the team spends less time on "busy work" and more time on high-impact design.
