Creative Director - Video & AI Content
About The Position

Requirements
- A real body of work. Years of professional film or video production with a portfolio you’re proud to share.
- Strong directing and editing instincts. Range, taste, and storytelling depth across formats.
- Genuine experience with AI content creation tools. Not just awareness — actual, hands-on use.
- U.S.-based, full-time in the Bay Area. This role is based out of our Bay Area office.
Nice To Haves
- Experience across formats. Music videos, short films, branded content, or social-first work that connects with audiences at scale.
- Background in creator-driven or influencer content. You understand what makes content travel on social platforms.
- Experience leading creative teams. You’ve mentored directors, editors, or producers and know how to set a creative bar without micromanaging.
Responsibilities
- Own the creative vision. Drive OpenArt’s full video output — short-form social, music videos, brand stories, and whatever the moment calls for.
- Direct and edit end-to-end. Take projects from concept to final cut. You’re hands-on, not just in the room.
- Partner cross-functionally. Collaborate closely with in-house creative directors, product, and marketing teams to translate what OpenArt is into something people feel.
- Raise the bar continuously. Set and elevate the standard for everything we put out into the world.
