Creative Coordinator, Animated Original Series
About The Position
Prime Video is a first-stop entertainment destination offering customers a vast collection of premium programming in one app available across thousands of devices. Prime members can customize their viewing experience and find their favorite movies, series, documentaries, and live sports – including Amazon MGM Studios-produced series and movies; licensed fan favorites; and programming from Prime Video add-on subscriptions such as Apple TV+, Max, Crunchyroll and MGM+. All customers, regardless of whether they have a Prime membership or not, can rent or buy titles via the Prime Video Store, and can enjoy even more content for free with ads. We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Coordinator to support the Animated Series team in the US. The successful candidate will be able to effectively multi-task; react with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround; and efficiently and creatively solve difficult or complex problems that affect people within the group or other related groups.
Requirements
- 2+ years of studio or production company assistant, or 1+ years of creative executive experience
- Experience assessing industry talent and trends
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience handling confidential information
- Experience as an assistant in an unscripted department at an agency, studio or unscripted production company
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of digital video landscape
- Experience as an assistant at a studio or production company
- Experience managing time efficiently, meeting personal goals, and working effectively with internal, partner, and customer teams
- Knowledge of the television and media industry
Responsibilities
- Works directly with and assists Animation Executives.
- Assist in managing the project submission and pitch process and upkeep of submission logs.
- Development and Current Series tracking for incoming deliverables, as well as providing notes on submitted pitches, treatments, and episodes.
- Coordination and interface with internal departments (marketing, business affairs, legal, PR, creative, production, and post-production teams) and external partners.
- Build and maintain interdepartmental grids and tracking systems.
- Maintain database of series assets and assist with building presentations.
- Conduct research as needed and maintain general tracking of industry players, overall deals, trends and the competitive landscape.
- Shadowing and support of creative projects.
