The role also works closely with external content partners to help develop and execute content aligned with brand direction, while maintaining a strong focus on production and delivery. Reporting to the Senior Creative Director, the Creative Content Producer is responsible for producing high-quality video and ecommerce photography content from concept through to final delivery. This role owns the full production process of planning, shooting, editing, and optimizing content for web, social, and retail screens. You’ll play a key role in elevating our brand by creating engaging, performance-driven content that supports marketing campaigns, product storytelling, and customer experience. Working closely with external agency partners, you’ll help bring creative direction to life while ensuring all content meets High Tide’s brand standards and business objectives. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong technical expertise, a sharp creative eye, and the ability to execute efficiently in a high-growth, ever-evolving environment. Without restricting the generality of the above-stated basic functions, this position shall perform such duties and responsibilities as may be assigned including but not restricted to the following:

Requirements

  • 2 – 4 years of experience in video production and editing.
  • Strong experience shooting and editing content independently.
  • Experience with ecommerce/product photography (required).
  • Proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, or Final Cut Pro.
  • Strong understanding of lighting, composition, and camera operation.
  • Ability to collaborate with external partners while executing internally.
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AI video is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Video Production (End-to-End)
  • Independently plan and execute video shoots (camera, lighting, audio).
  • Capture product, lifestyle, and in-store content.
  • Edit video content for web and social (cutting, audio, color, basic motion graphics).
  • Deliver final assets in platform-ready formats.
  • Ecommerce Photography
  • Shoot product photography (white background and lifestyle).
  • Ensure accurate representation of product (color, scale, detail).
  • Retouch and optimize images for web consistency and performance.
  • Content Development (Agency Collaboration)
  • Work with external content agency to support content development and execution.
  • Provide input on shoot feasibility, production approach, and visual direction.
  • Execute content aligned with approved concepts and brand standards.
  • Content Execution
  • Produce short-form digital content for social and web.
  • Support campaign content as needed.
  • Follow creative briefs and ensure consistency across outputs.
  • Production Ownership
  • Manage shoot setup, execution, and teardown independently.
  • Troubleshoot on-set issues and adapt as needed.
  • Deliver content on time and within scope.
  • Asset Management
  • Organize and maintain all photo/video assets (raw and final).
  • Ensure proper naming and storage for team accessibility.
  • Quality Control
  • Review all content for technical accuracy and brand alignment before delivery.
