About The Position

Charlie Health is hiring exceptional Creative Arts Facilitators to provide remote, telehealth services to our clients. We are looking for forward-thinking mental health and substance use professionals to enhance our programming and provide the best possible care to our clients. This is a contract / 1099 position that allows flexibility in scheduling sessions and working from a comfortable location. A minimum of 9 hours per week is requested to facilitate group sessions and build connections with clients. The role requires clinicians to be well-versed in a variety of modalities and sophisticated and relational in their approach to clients struggling with serious mental health issues. Successful candidates are committed to client well-being and adept at self-care.

Requirements

  • Work authorized in the United States.
  • Native or bilingual English proficiency.
  • Experience working with a wide range of ages, including children, teens, young adults, and adults clients.
  • Availability between 9 and 40 hours per week.
  • Familiarity with and willingness to use cloud-based communication software—Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox–in addition to EMR and survey software on a daily basis.
  • Must be available in the evenings to meet the schedules of our clients.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification as a creative arts facilitator preferred (all disciplines are welcome to apply).
  • Well versed in a variety of modalities (yoga, art, dance, music).
  • Confident integrating modalities into treatment approach.
  • DBT, CBT, EMDR, MI certification is a plus.
  • Passionate about the benefits of group treatment and skilled in conducting group treatment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Creative and engaging, especially over video!

Responsibilities

  • Provide remote, telehealth services to clients.
  • Facilitate group sessions.
  • Integrate various creative arts modalities (yoga, art, dance, music) into treatment approaches.
  • Work with a wide range of ages, including children, teens, young adults, and adults.
  • Conduct group treatment sessions.
  • Use cloud-based communication software (Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox), EMR, and survey software daily.
