About The Position

The Crate Assembler I will be responsible for assembling packaging crates and subassemblies used to ship product. This role requires a high attention to detail and the ability to work with various hand tools in a team-centered environment. Requirements

High attention to detail
Prioritization skills
Ability to use hand tools
High school diploma or equivalent
Be able to safely lift or move at least 50 lbs
Be able to safely climb stairs or ladder
Be able to work in cold or hot working conditions
Must be able to Bend, Stoop, Squat, Kneel

Responsibilities

Assemble wooden crates using pneumatic nail guns, drills, and/or impact drivers
Ensure crates being built are to the highest quality by adhering to established procedures and approved processes
Work with the highest level of safety
Fulfill production orders on time to meet product delivery times
Use of scanners and computers to communicate production order status
Provide feedback for process improvement opportunities that would enhance safety, productivity, or efficiency
Maintain and improve area cleanliness to ensure a clean and safe work environment
Ability to flex into other work areas as needed
Willing to work overtime when needed
