About The Position

This position involves operating various types of machinery to process, refurbish, and finish engine components to precise specifications. The role requires the use of external grinders, surface grinders, lathes, milling machines, and other manufacturing equipment. Additionally, the operator will utilize tools for straightening, assembling, bench grinding, polishing, milling, drilling, balancing, and automatic sawing. A key aspect of the job is the ability to interpret blueprints, understand manufacturing processes, and use measuring and inspection equipment to ensure parts meet required standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previously held a classification or a position demonstrating the ability to operate manufacturing machinery, or satisfactorily completed a company provided or outside training demonstrating some machine skills or equivalent to that required to operate manufacturing machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform other duties inherently required of the job classification.
• Perform assigned work in a safety conscious manner.
• Perform assigned work to specified quality and production standards.
• Maintain equipment and tools used by the individual in a clean condition.
• Perform assigned cleaning required to maintain individual's immediate work area in a clean condition.
• Prepare and/or maintain all documentation necessary to the duties of the job classification.
