About The Position

The Crane Operator operates manual and hydraulic lattice boom cranes, cherry pickers, and forklifts to move materials and equipment safely and efficiently. The role requires mobile crane certification and experience performing load chart calculations. The operator also inspects and maintains lifting equipment, follows safety procedures, and coordinates with team members to support lifting operations and construction and maintenance schedules.

Requirements

Mobile crane certification.
At least 2 years of experience operating manual and hydraulic lattice boom cranes, cherry pickers, and forklifts.
Experience performing load chart calculations.
Strong understanding of crane operation safety protocols and procedures.
Ability to inspect and maintain lifting equipment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Proficiency in operating various types of cranes and lifting equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to perform accurate load chart calculations.
Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to crane operations.
Effective communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

Operate manual and hydraulic lattice boom cranes, cherry pickers, and forklifts.
Use OSHA hand signals and rigging techniques.
Perform load chart calculations to ensure safe operation of lifting equipment.
Inspect and maintain cranes and lifting equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Coordinate with team members to support smooth and efficient lifting operations.
Move materials and equipment as required by construction and maintenance schedules.
