About The Position
Corle Building Systems is a manufacturer of pre-engineered metal building systems and is seeking a hardworking, dependable individual to join their Production Department on 1st Shift as a Crane Operator. The company is IAS-accredited (USA) and CSA-A660 (Canada) certified and designs and manufactures rigid frame clear-span and multiple-span buildings.
Requirements
- Experience in operating overhead cranes and forklifts
- Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations
- Basic math and recording abilities
- Keen eye for detail
Responsibilities
- Operate a traveling or stationary overhead crane to lift, move, and position loads using hoisting attachments such as hooks and slings.
- Observe load hookup and determine the safety of the load.
- Manipulate or depress crane controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement.
- Ensure the correct materials are placed in the correct position for placement onto production line.
- Sorting of finished material and movement to other departments in the manufacturing facility.
