About The Position

This role involves operating a crane for production runs, including setup, material handling, quality checks, and maintaining a clean and efficient work environment. The operator will follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all tasks.

Requirements

Proficiency in using SOPs for setup and production.
Ability to perform quality checks and documentation.
Understanding of FIFO system for inventory management.
Knowledge of TPM schedule for machinery maintenance.
Commitment to continuous improvement in quality, safety, productivity, and delivery.

Responsibilities

Set up bolster for upcoming production run using SOP.
Fill out set-up check off sheet and load program.
Load destacker with blanks.
Set up baskets for upcoming run.
Initiate production control sheet and labels for finished product.
Check all critical points and document using quality SOP.
Complete periodic quality checks on progressive parts.
Place finished product in holding locations using the FIFO system.
Maintain daily housekeeping of work cell to ensure a clean work environment.
Maintain TPM schedule to ensure uptime of machinery.
Engage in continuous improvement in quality, safety, productivity, and delivery.
Perform other duties as required by management.
