About The Position
Hutco Inc. is looking for a 1st-class crane operator to operate a 3900 Vicon Manitowoc crane at a shipyard in Belle Chase, LA. It primarily repairs work on barges and boats. No training opportunities are available. Looking for crane operators with experience only. NO TWIC card is required. NO per diem is available. LONG-TERM WORK. LOTS OF HOURS AVAILABLE!!
Requirements
- 1st-class crane operator
- Experience operating a 3900 Vicon Manitowoc crane
- Experience in repair work on barges and boats
Responsibilities
- Operates cranes, cherry pickers, and other equipment used in lifting and manipulating loads in the repair and/or construction of marine vessels and associated equipment.
- Performs service and maintenance on equipment, refueling, and manipulates cables, chains, shackles, tag lines, and other equipment.
- Works in outside working conditions with fumes, odors, and dust.
