About The Position

Turner Industries Group is looking for NCCCO certified Crane Operators for work in the Corpus Christi, TX area. The Crane Operator will be responsible for the operation of various power-driven and hydraulic machinery used to move materials. This is a long-term position with a 40-hour work week, including occasional travel and working in plants. Large and small cranes will be operated. No per diem is offered.

Requirements

NCCCO certification required
TWIC required
Class A CDL
Must be able to pass background check and drug screen
High school or equivalent
Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace

Nice To Haves

Preferably one (1) to two (2) years of experience in specified skill

Responsibilities

Operation of various power driven and hydraulic machinery which are used to move materials.
Moves hand and foot levers to control diesel, electric, gasoline or steam-powered operating equipment.
Interprets hand signals to determine where materials are to be placed.
Reads and interprets load charts.
May assemble or disassemble equipment or material on construction projects.
May be required to manipulate equipment on unlevel working surfaces.
May perform maintenance duties such as cleaning, greasing and oiling machines/equipment.
