About The Position
Brasfield & Gorrie is currently accepting applications for Crane Operator (Rough Terrain, Friction, Lattice Boom). This position involves operating mechanical boom and cable, friction cranes, or tower and cable equipment to lift and move materials, machines, or products in many directions on a commercial construction project. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and working in a drug-free environment. This description may not include all duties required of this position.
Requirements
- Must have current and valid NCCCO certification
- Must fluently speak and write English
- Ability to read load charts
Nice To Haves
- 5 years Commercial Construction Crane Operator experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Operate mechanical boom and cable, friction cranes, or tower and cable equipment to lift and move materials, machines, or products in many directions on a commercial construction project
- Interpret and follow all signals
- Complete daily and weekly inspection and maintenance reports
- Work in all types of weather
- Adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment
- Know instrument and control panels
