About The Position
The Crane Operator II (above 150 tons) is committed to supporting Louisiana Bridge Builders by operating Lattice boom cranes and/or hydraulic boom cranes as required and directed by Project Supervision. This position is based in Lake Charles, LA.
Requirements
- National Crane Certification (NCCCO or NCCER) that is good
- 5+ years of relevant crane operating Crane over 150t capacity.
Nice To Haves
- Experience driving concrete piles is preferred.
- Ability to operate other heavy equipment.
- Ability to operate machinery using throttles, switches, levers, etc.
Responsibilities
- Operate lattice boom or Hydraulic crane above 150 tons.
- Read and understand lift plans and always adhere to the lift plan.
- Daily inspections and complete inspection report that will be reviewed and actioned by the Crane Superintendent.
- Candidates should be flexible if they have experience in different cranes, there may be instances where the operator will be expected to run a different crane.
- Perform all tasks efficiently and safely.
- Performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
