Amentum is seeking a Crane Maintenance Technician III to join their industrial maintenance team. This role involves providing and managing maintenance and engineering technical support services for commercial and industrial critical facilities. Requirements

3 years of experience troubleshooting cranes and hoists OR 1 year of mechanical experience along with a tech school Industrial maintenance or related facility maintenance discipline.
Must have the ability to work in an aerial lift or scissor lift at heights up to 30 feet or higher.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Must be willing to travel locally up to 50% of the time.
Must be able to lift or carrying up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to stand and/or walk for prolonged/extensive amounts of time.
Must be able to use a ladder or lift and work on structures or equipment above ground level.
Must be able to work in cramped or uncomfortable places and positions.
Must be able to push, pull, or lift heavy equipment, supplies, or parts.
Requires the ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
Requires the ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during shift.
Requires the flexibility to bend/stoop, squat repetitive during shift.
Requires the ability to regularly kneel repetitive for shift.
Requires the ability to move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis for shift.
Requires the ability to stretch/reach on a repetitive basis for shift.
Requires the ability to walk extensively throughout the plant during shift.
Requires the use of a Company/Client approved utility knife.
Requires the ability to differentiate colors pertaining to wire color-coding.
Some tasks will require repetitive wrist movement.
Wear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed.
Cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained.

Nice To Haves

Crane certification isn't required to start but you must be able to obtain - we will help you become certified.
Training will be supplied.

Responsibilities

Responds to work orders, troubleshooting, and providing preventive and corrective maintenance on facility hoists, cranes, and other mechanical equipment and systems in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Safely performs functions of the position including following proper safety guidelines such as job hazard analysis and lockout/tagout procedures and wearing PPE as required.
Identifies and corrects any safety-related issues and performs independent equipment evaluations to identify potential equipment failures.
Performs general maintenance of equipment.
Works in environments 6 to 30 ft above ground.
Travels to other sites when required (in the local Moline, Davenport, or QC area).
