About The Position

A Craftsman shall perform or assist in the removal, fitting and application of new insulation materials and/or coverings as required per the job scope. A Craftsman shall also perform general site work such as loading and unloading equipment and materials, site clean-up and preparation, mobilization and demobilization to and from the jobsite, and general construction tasks.

Requirements

Minimum 1-2 years of experience.
Heavy lifting will often be required.
Must be able to kneel, squat, and climb.
Must be able to perform required duties for extended periods of time.
Must maintain a positive attitude with crew members.
Must be able to work in high noise volumes, toxic or caustic chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, dusty conditions, hazardous machinery, precarious places, proximity to other employees.
Must pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

Perform or assist in the removal, fitting and application of new insulation materials and/or coverings.
Perform general site work such as loading and unloading equipment and materials.
Perform site clean-up and preparation.
Perform mobilization and demobilization to and from the jobsite.
Perform general construction tasks.
Follow verbal directions to perform duties and responsibilities.
Clean up of work area, supplies, materials, and equipment.
Communicate regularly with the Field Foreman with regard to issues and concerns on the job site.
Comply with all Apache and client safety policies and programs.
Maintain reliable attendance records.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Work unsupervised in an efficient and effective manner.
Wear all required PPE.
Set up and take down ladders, scaffolding, and other temporary structures.
Help carpenters, masons, and other specialized contractors clean up of work area, supplies, materials and equipment.
Clean and prepare a job site.
Load and deliver materials.
Use a variety of tools and machines such as blowtorches, forklifts, levels, lifts, power drills, grinders, saws, pressure washers, and water spraying equipment.
Ensure good housekeeping is being performed throughout the entire project - inside & outside.
