About The Position

Lead Craftsman – Ace Handyman Services is seeking a skilled and experienced Craftsman/Handyman to join our team in Columbia, South Carolina. This full-time position offers an hourly rate of $25–$30, based on experience. We value your craftsmanship and provide support through overtime pay, a tool allowance, and regular pay reviews.

Requirements

• 5+ years of multi-trade experience (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, tile, drywall, painting)
• Own reliable vehicle (truck/van) and toolkit
• Strong communication & customer service skills — client, supplier, and team interactions
• Leadership ability — overseeing projects, small-crew management, diagnosing and directing field work
• Professional presentation — clean-cut, organized tools, presentable vehicle
• Ability to pass a background check

Nice To Haves

• Experience in HVAC
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) ability

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate on-site work across various trades
• Ensure projects are completed to high standards of quality and safety
• Mentor and guide team members in craftsmanship and client service
• Represent Ace Handyman Services with professionalism on every job site
