About The Position
The Crafts I – Journeyperson performs general maintenance duties / repairs as assigned. CHOC strives to be the leading destination of children's health by providing exceptional and innovative care. Requirements
- Minimum five (5) years mechanical equipment repair, troubleshooting, maintaining and building systems experience.
- High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent.
- Trade school or on the job training with recognized service organization.
- Specialized skills to include any of the following: HVAC, Electrical, Lighting Controls, Plumbing, Locksmith, Access Controls, Security Systems, Fire Alarm systems, Carpentry, Painting, Drywall repair, computer programming, water damage restoration.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal relationship and collaboration skills.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English effectively at a level appropriate for the safe and effective performance of the job.
- None required (Licensure).

- Over five (5) years of experience in a hospital setting.
