About The Position

This internship focuses on assisting with Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) initiatives, including financial literacy and community development outreach. The intern will support content creation, data tracking, mailbox management, research, and attend community events. Regular attendance and punctuality are expected, along with the ability to assist with special projects.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Currently working towards a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business management or related field
• Ability to organize and prioritize
• Detail oriented and ability to multi-task
• Strong analytical skills and exercises good judgement to make sound decisions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Must be a self-starter and able to meet all deadlines
• Must communicate effectively, both verbal and written
• Must successfully pass background investigation according to company policy
• Must be able to get along with co-workers and work effectively in a team environment

Nice To Haves

• Prior banking experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating financial literacy and other community development outreach activities and initiatives.
• Assist in creation, development, or enhancement of content for newsletters, websites, libraries, social media platforms, initiatives, and other communication along with distribution through multiple internal and external sources.
• Assist in collecting and building community development activity packages as well as tracking and reporting community development services, donations, loans, and investments.
• Assist in management of shared CRA, Donations and Financial Literacy Mailboxes.
• Assists with research related to financial literacy initiatives.
• Attends community outreach engagements and other functions with community-based organization partners.
• Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality.
• Assists with special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
