About The Position

At ICON Strategic Solutions, the CRA I works in a sponsor-dedicated model, supported by ICON’s global expertise. The role contributes to clinical trial operations and collaborates with teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes across clinical programmes. It involves clinical trial monitoring, study coordination, documentation, and maintaining compliance with company procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements. The role is based in Bogotá and is remote, with travel required as needed (approximately 60%).

Requirements

• University degree in medicine, science, or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience as a CRA in on-site monitoring.
• Knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and ability to review and evaluate medical data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Good social skills to address queries in a timely manner.
• Willingness to travel as required, approximately 60%.
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities for study setup and monitoring, working independently and proactively.
• Complete accurate study status reports and maintain study documentation.
• Process sponsor-generated queries efficiently and take responsibility for study cost efficiency.
• Participate in preparing and reviewing study documentation and feasibility studies for new proposals, as required.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, clinical investigators, and site staff.
• Protect patient safety by ensuring compliance with ICON procedures, study protocols, and regulatory requirements.
