The Social Worker is a leadership position within the Community Residence partnering with the Residential Program Manager, Senior Counselors, Recreational Specialist, Case Manager and Nurse. As a collective, the co-leadership team is responsible for the oversight of the health, wellness, and care of youth in the program. Knowledge of childhood trauma and the impacts is paramount. The Social Worker will identify and assess client and family needs and evaluate, coordinate, and provide necessary services and/or treatment. They will also provide in-home supportive counseling services to residents and families, complete required assessments, and assist individuals and families by helping to articulate goals and providing needed information. Overall, the Social Worker contributes to the Glove House high performance culture by exhibiting our values and providing quality results that keep Glove House as the premier provider of child, family, and behavioral health solutions. The Social Worker is directly accountable to the Residential Program Manager. Critical features of this job are described under headings below.
