Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts required.
  • Experience working with data entry and managing program datasets
  • Experience in research setting or work requiring analytical skills
  • Excellent written, communication, and organizational skills; detail oriented, ability to plan, implement, monitor and report out on program activities.
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (O365, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, Zoom, CANVA)
  • Ability to analyze, detect issues, and efficiently resolve problems with excellent judgement and minimal support
  • Produces high-quality work at all times. Makes every effort to turn in complete, thorough, grammatically and mathematically correct work. Does not rely on supervisors to substantially correct or edit work.
  • Experience working as part of a collaborative team
  • Places value on cultural awareness and humility in a multi-ethnic community

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with management to complete program reports (monthly, quarterly and annual reports).
  • Implement and create processes that improve survey data processing and significantly reduce and/or eliminate manual data entry.
  • Develop and maintain systems and procedures that connect different data sources: Salesforce, funder reporting portal, Microsoft Excel and streamline data processing.
  • Design and implement efficient and effective procedures for data management and analysis with attention to all technical aspects
  • Provide technical assistance and training to team members and staff.
  • Analyze and interpret data, both from quantitative and qualitative analyses, using accepted statistical and qualitative research methods.
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems for conducting comparison data tables and reports
  • Perform independent research to identify and include new demographic, health, and food systems data sources for needs evaluations and comparative analysis.
  • Present findings from survey data to management and team and collaborate with staff to improve survey tools and reporting processes.
  • As requested, participate in leadership meetings with Program Director when presenting on data.
  • Assist with project planning, troubleshooting, and implementation of new strategies and initiatives and how they will be tracked in master database
  • Explore and implement new and innovative ways and technology to evaluate program objectives and present program successes and outcomes.
  • Examine large-scale and long-term datasets to evaluate overall program impact and reach.
  • Conduct risk assessment questionnaire one time per year
  • Monitors program compliance with funder requirements and makes recommendations for improvements to program services as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
