About The Position

We are looking for a dedicated night worker to join our kind and caring team. We support our customers with a range of support needs which may include frailty and dementia, helping them regain or maintain their independence and ‘live well’ in their own homes. Some customers have more complex support needs and may require personal care, including bathing, toileting and getting dressed. We provide 24-hour support to our customers.

Requirements

• A level 2 or above, or equivalent in social care or being willing to work towards this
• Previous experience of working with support plans, recording and using information concisely and effectively.
• Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans.
• You will need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
• You will work nights on a two week rota.
• Week one: Monday Tuesday Saturday Sunday all 8pm-8am Shifts
• Week Two Wednesday Thursday Friday all 8pm-8am Shifts

Nice To Haves

• If you’ve worked in a CQC care setting previously, that would be great!
• Knowledge of local community and networks would be brilliant.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the care team to follow support plans and reporting any concerns
• Supporting our customers with everyday daily living activities
• There is no rushing from one customer to the next, allowing time for cuppas, chats and catch ups.
