We are actively looking for experienced CPAs with 4+ years of recent public accounting experience who are seeking long-term growth within our firm.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years public accounting experience preferred
  • CPA in good standing with the Accountancy Board
  • May have some supervisory responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Organizing and managing client assignments and projects, including the completion of assignments and tasks and project components.
  • Coaching, advising and directing team members in meeting client and self-development expectations.
  • Maintaining primary responsibility for assigned clients.
  • Monitoring the work flow and due dates for assigned clients.
  • Supervising, training, and reviewing supervisors, in-charge accountants', staff accountants', and accounting assistants' services performed on assigned clients in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • Demonstrating excellent skill and experience in assigned technical areas representative of a manager.
  • Performing engagements within budgeted time limits and discussing reasons for overruns with client partner or principal.
  • Working as an effective team member to complete project components and assigned tasks.
  • Building working relationships at peer client level.
  • Effectively documenting work.
  • Implementing solutions for clients.
  • Identifying task issues as well as task progress in a timely and organized manner.
  • Making timely and decisive solutions to complex issues.
  • Seeking to gain knowledge of client business.
  • Demonstrating an active interest in the business world by keeping abreast of market trends and business developments.
  • Assisting in proposal development and research gathering as requested.
  • Participating in office and firm wide initiatives.
  • Actively pursuing self-development opportunities.
  • Maintaining an image representative of a leader.
  • Building strong team relationship skills.
  • Maintaining personal and professional integrity at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.
