About The Position
This CPA firm provides tax and accounting services to clients of all sizes across a range of industries, as well as tax planning and resolution services. The firm prides itself on being more than just data pushers, aiming to empower clients with knowledge to make better decisions with timely, accurate information and good advice. They are engaged participants in their clients' businesses, acting as advisors and problem solvers. The team is mostly in the office, and the role would initially be as well, with flexibility, but not fully remote in the near future. The firm is growing and looking for the right person to join their team.
Requirements
- CPA designation
- 5+ Years of Experience
- Good technical skills

Responsibilities
- Take a QuickBooks file, identify and fix errors in recorded transactions.
- Input information into tax returns, interpret the data, and discuss it with clients.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects.
- Read tax notices, determine necessary actions, and communicate with tax authorities.
- Interact with clients, take ownership of work, and problem-solve.
- Prepare client files to be approximately 80% ready for review.
