About The Position
Serve as Coxswain of small craft.
Requirements
- USCG endorsement as AB (limited)
- Three (3) years’ experience at the level of an AB Seaman or recent experience in a Navy deck rating with small boat qualifications, or a minimum of five (5)years of equivalent maritime experience
- Basic Fire Fighting
Responsibilities
- Operation and maintenance of small craft
- Responsible for the safe operation, navigation and station keeping of the craft
- Performs a variety of tasks related to the operation reporting and upkeep of the vessel
- Performs hull, deck and superstructure preservation, general cleaning, operation of deck equipment, securing deck and project equipment
- Other related duties as assigned and recordable
- Ensure compliance to all Company Policies and Procedures, USCG, Federal, State and Local Government Agencies regulations
- Any other duties as required for the Contract performance
