Requirements

Previous manufacturing or machine operator experience preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and follow work instructions and production specifications.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work overtime and weekends when production demands require.

Nice To Haves

Previous cover operator experience.
Print manufacturing or bindery experience.
Experience with automated production equipment.
Knowledge of quality control processes.
Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience.

Responsibilities

Operate cover-making equipment according to job specifications and production schedules.
Set up, adjust, and monitor machinery to maintain quality and efficiency standards.
Review job tickets and verify material requirements before production begins.
Inspect covers throughout production to ensure quality standards are met.
Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
Troubleshoot minor equipment and production issues.
Accurately complete production and quality documentation.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
Work closely with production, bindery, and quality teams to meet customer deadlines.
Follow all company safety procedures and operational standards.
