About The Position

Rochester Motor Cars is seeking part-time Courtesy Shuttle Drivers for its busy dealership. The Shuttle Driver provides customers with a positive service experience by driving them to or picking them up from their homes or offices while their vehicles are being serviced.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be insurable by Rochester Motor Cars’ liability insurance provider.
• Must work evening, weekend, and holiday hours as required.
• Maintain a professional appearance and a neat work area in accordance with company policy.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen before hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Drive customers to their homes or places of business and pick them up after their vehicles are repaired.
• Use good judgment and safe driving skills at all times.
• Keep shuttle routes timely and advise customers of departure and arrival times.
• Assist customers in getting in and out of vehicles.
• Use a mobile device to communicate with the dealership or other vehicles and report service disruptions.
• Use the Quickride program to track customer pickups and drop-offs.
• Notify the service manager when the shuttle vehicle requires servicing or maintenance, such as oil changes, tires, cleaning, or general maintenance.
• Clean assigned vehicles, including dusting, vacuuming, wiping, and rinsing.
• Keep assigned vehicles neat and organized.
• Fill vehicles with fuel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
