About The Position

This is a full-time position responsible for ensuring the security and well-being of residents and property. The role involves making regular rounds, interacting with residents and their families, following emergency procedures, and maintaining the courtesy staff golf cart. A key aspect of the job is being aware of resident locations at all times and demonstrating knowledge of safety codes and emergency procedures.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED
• Ability to speak, read and write English
• Excellent interpersonal skills required
• Valid Texas Driver's License required
• Knowledge of MSDS and Life Safety Codes
• Valid Drivers license

Nice To Haves

• Some security type experience preferred, but not necessary
• Computer knowledge helpful
• Military background helpful

Responsibilities

• Fill out courtesy staff log book
• Make frequent rounds of property observing and making sure all doors are secured properly
• Work directly with residents and family members on any of their concerns
• Follow emergency procedures and all safety guidelines
• Maintain courtesy staff golf cart
• Be aware of resident’s locations at all times
• Inspect all areas of Independent Living building
