About The Position
Our courtesy clerks are the calm in the storm at Nugget Market. Be a part of a company that provides opportunities for professional growth in a fun atmosphere. Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work any shifts, including weekends and evenings. Individual associate hourly rates are based on factors including experience, location, and length of employment.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Sense of urgency in a fast-paced work environment
- Basic problem solving abilities
- Basic understanding of the English language, which includes the ability to communicate and read basic instructions, schedules and signage
- Ability to multitask and assist guests with questions
- Excellent communication skills with a warm and welcoming personality
Responsibilities
- Bagging groceries efficiently and according to proper bagging techniques
- Assisting guests to their vehicles and unloading all purchases
- Assisting guests in finding items throughout the store
- Maintaining total store appearance by conducting hourly store wide sweeps and bathroom checks
- Responding to clean up calls
- Retrieving carts from the parking lot
- Other store specific tasks
