About The Position
At Tony's Fresh Markets, we are looking for a Courtesy Clerk to join our team. This role involves assisting customers with bagging their groceries, providing excellent customer service, and helping them to their vehicles if needed. You will be responsible for carefully packing bags to maximize space and prevent damage to items. Additionally, you will help bring in carts when cart flow is low and must be prepared to work in various weather conditions. This position may involve other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Highly organized with a keen sense of details.
- Great listening and communication skills.
- Ability to handle lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, and twisting while handling product or using various equipment.
- Ability to shine in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be available weekends and Holidays.
- Must be 16 years and older for this position.
Responsibilities
- Help put purchased groceries into bags for customers.
- Assist customers to their vehicle with their groceries, providing cordial and respectful customer service.
- Pack bags efficiently and carefully, ensuring produce and soft items are not damaged.
- Bring in carts when cart flow is low.
- Be prepared to work in all weather conditions, including rain, snow, extreme cold, or heat.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
