About The Position
At Tony's Fresh Markets, we are looking for a Courtesy Clerk to join our team. This role involves assisting customers by bagging their groceries, providing excellent customer service, and potentially helping them to their vehicles. You will be responsible for carefully packing bags to ensure groceries are not damaged and maximizing space. Additionally, you may be asked to bring in carts when cart flow is low. It is important to be prepared for all weather conditions as you will be responsible for bringing in carts regardless of the weather. This position may also involve other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Highly organized with a keen sense of details.
- Great listening and communication skills.
- Can handle lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, and twisting while handling product or using various equipment.
- Ability to shine in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be available weekends and Holidays.
- Must be 16 years and older for this position.
Responsibilities
- Help put purchased groceries into bags for customers.
- Provide cordial and respectful customer service, assisting customers to their vehicles if needed.
- Pack bags efficiently and carefully, ensuring produce and soft items are not damaged.
- Bring in carts when cart flow is low.
- Be prepared to work in all weather conditions.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
