As a Courtesy Clerk, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a clean and organized store environment. Your role involves assisting customers with bagging groceries, retrieving carts, and maintaining cleanliness in the store. Requirements
- Basic knowledge of grocery store layout and product locations.

- Ability to ensure accuracy in bagging groceries and maintaining cleanliness in the store.
- Skill in prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and pushing carts.
- Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and handle various tasks as needed.
- Collaboration with coworkers to achieve common goals and provide excellent service to customers.
- Ability to identify and address customer needs and concerns in a timely and effective manner.

- Ability to follow directions and instructions given by the department manager.
- Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment is preferred but not required.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and push/pull heavy carts.
- Excellent communication skills and a willingness to assist others.
- Consistent and reliable attendance of your scheduled shifts.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers with a friendly smile and offer assistance as needed.
- Bag groceries for customers, ensuring items are packed carefully and efficiently.
- Assist customers by taking their groceries out to their car.
- Retrieve shopping carts from the parking lot and return them to the store.
- Assist customers with locating products and answering inquiries about store services.
- Maintain cleanliness in the store, including sweeping floors, wiping down surfaces, and emptying trash bins and cleaning bathrooms.
- Assist with stocking shelves and replenishing inventory as needed.
- Assist in maintaining order and safety in the store, including monitoring for spills and hazards.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including those related to customer service and safety.
- Perform any other duties as designated by your department manager.
