About The Position

Team Gilbert has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to fill the position of Court Services Clerk. The Court Services Clerk reports to a Court Administrative Supervisor. The primary function of this position is to provide clerical and technical support to the courts by receiving, preparing, and processing various types of legal documents, maintaining databases and automated files/records, receiving and recording payments, and by preparing, scheduling, and/or coordinating operational activities such as docket scheduling and bailiff and jury coordination. Providing excellent customer service in person and over the phone is essential to this position. This position works on-site. This position's work schedule and hours are Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. This position is At-Will and FLSA Non-Exempt - eligible for overtime compensation.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3 years of clerical experience in a legal or court work environment
  • Strong face-to-face and telephone customer service skills
  • Well organized
  • Interpersonal and communication skills needed to maintain positive working relationships with community members and coworkers.
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively prioritize workload
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Pre-employment drug screen

Nice To Haves

  • Bi-lingual ability, Spanish/English is highly desirable
