About The Position

The Court Service Unit (CSU) Director provides leadership and manages the operations of the court service unit. This role involves managing human and capital resources, ensuring the proper application of all pertinent policies and procedures according to departmental, state, local, and judicial requirements. The CSU Director also collaborates with local stakeholders, community partners, and the judiciary.

Requirements

Considerable knowledge of federal, state, local, and public laws and ordinances relating to criminal justice.
Considerable experience managing or supervising a unit or multiple employees to include personnel management and leading organizational goals and practices.
Demonstrated experience communicating effectively and establishing collaborative relationships with all levels of staff, partner agencies, and community stakeholders.
Experience overseeing the administration and evaluation of criminal justice practices and program models.
Knowledge of evidenced-based practices within criminal justice programming.
Knowledge of budgeting and procurement practices.
Working knowledge of MS Office programs.

Nice To Haves

Progressive supervisory experience in a juvenile court service unit setting.
Budget management experience.
Experience utilizing automated case management systems.
