About The Position
Functions as a staff specialist conducting legal research and analyses; provides legal assistance to division and section chiefs; updates policy, procedures and rules of the Court; and performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Completion of all academic requirements for a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Four (4) years of responsible professional experience which involved the application and analysis of research methods and techniques in legal research or court matters
- Research and review of local or national legislation and recommendation of new or revision of legislation to any applicable law
- Serving as legal advisor
- Providing legal research and analysis of court policies, procedures and rules of the Court
Nice To Haves
- Excess experience of the type and quality described above, or any administrative, professional, or other responsible work which required a high level of analytical skill may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
- Graduation from an accredited school of law may be substituted for two (2) years of experience.
