About The Position

CLFC is building its court reporter roster in the Atlanta market to support depositions, arbitrations, examinations under oath, and state and commercial legal proceedings across CLFC's nationwide legal-support practice. This is recurring work, not a single engagement. CLFC manages scheduling and payment so you focus on the record.

Requirements

• RPR (NCRA) certification or an active state Certified Shorthand Reporter (CSR) license valid in the jurisdiction of assignment.
• Minimum 2 years of professional court reporting experience.
• A Notary Public commission in the jurisdiction of assignment or the ability to obtain one.
• Proficiency with stenographic CAT software and reliable professional equipment with redundant backup recording.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Realtime Reporter (CRR) and/or Registered Merit Reporter (RMR)
• Realtime capability
• Multi-jurisdiction licensure

Responsibilities

• Produce a complete, accurate, verbatim record of depositions, arbitrations, and examinations.
• Deliver certified transcripts within requested turnaround tiers.
• Provide realtime output where requested.
• Manage exhibits.
• Uphold professional confidentiality and impartiality as an officer of the record.

• Total earning potential: $90,000 to $150,000+ annually (1099 independent contractor, workload dependent)
