Under general supervision, performs specialized work of moderate difficulty in case processing and legal clerical duties for the Clerk of Superior Court. This role involves creating new case files, generating notices, forwarding file information, and managing exhibits and classified material. It also includes preparing records for appeals, docketing, scanning, and updating cases in the case management system. The position requires interacting with the public, court personnel, judges, and attorneys, providing information and assistance without giving legal advice. Clerical support, mail handling, and document processing (photocopying, scanning, faxing) are also key functions. Additionally, the role involves accepting and processing payments, issuing receipts, updating records, and performing data entry and retrieval in the court management system. Receiving and processing court documents electronically and over the counter, issuing warrants, and processing bail bond agent applications are also part of the duties. The position may also involve other job-related duties as assigned.
