About The Position
This position assists a Korean instructor with grading assignments and other class-related responsibilities. The role involves posting grades on Canvas and performing other duties as assigned, such as copying upcoming assignments. The position is open to both Work Study and Non-Work Study applicants.
Requirements
- Fluent in Korean (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Consistently punctual, arriving promptly and reliably for meetings and deadlines.
- Dependable in completing assignments, always following through on tasks and delivering results as expected.
- Demonstrates strong communication skills, conveying information clearly, maintaining transparency, and keeping the instructor well-informed.
- Exhibits a respectful and courteous demeanor, interacting professionally with instructor and maintaining a positive work atmosphere.
- Be a degree-seeking graduate student without existing admissions conditions imposed by the Vice Provost and Dean of Graduate Studies.
- Be in good academic standing and making satisfactory progress toward a graduate degree.
- Remain registered in course that count toward the graduate degree for a least nine semester hours during the long semesters.
- Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Nice To Haves
- Native speaker level of writing skills
- Grader's semester course load should not exceed 15 credit hours.
