About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Courier to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT. This role is responsible for loading necessary supplies, completing daily pickup schedules in a timely manner, and delivering all daily picks to the branch at the end of the shift. The Courier will handle all specimens and lab samples safely and efficiently, operate a company vehicle in compliance with traffic laws, and utilize a handheld electronic device to manage daily pickups. This position also involves working directly with dispatch for additional pickups and evaluating traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions as needed. Requirements

• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Be 21 years of age or older
• Punctual with strong time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Customer service experience
• Ability to problem solve customer issues
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

• Current or Prior Labcorp experience
• 2 or more years of professional courier or route‑based delivery experience within a medical or laboratory company
• 1 or more years of experience handling medical specimens or supporting hospital / laboratory operations
• 2 or more years of experience using handheld delivery‑management devices or route optimization tools, such as scanners, GPS‑based routing software, or dispatch applications

Responsibilities

• Load all necessary supplies needed for the daily pickups
• Complete daily pick up schedule in a timely manner
• Deliver all daily picks to your branch at the end of your shift
• Handle all specimens and lab samples in safe and efficient manner
• Safely operate company vehicle and obey all traffic laws
• Utilize handheld electronic device to manage daily picks up
• Work directly with dispatcher for additional pick-ups as needed
• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes and weather conditions as needed
