About The Position
St. Croix Health is looking for a Courier to join their team. This is a casual position that will fill-in as needed. The hours are typically Monday through Friday, 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm. This position is responsible for providing pick-up and delivery service for a variety of items at various locations.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- No previous experience required
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with little direction and manage multiple demands and priorities
Responsibilities
- Transport items safely to and from a variety of locations within allotted timeframe
- Ensure proper care of items handled during transport
- Follow proper safety, environmental and infection controls methods
- Load, transport, and deliver items in a timely manner
- Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
- Maintains appropriate logs and records
- Prepare reports or other documents relating to deliveries and/or use of SCRMC company vehicle
- Adhere to appropriate requirements when operating SCRMC company vehicle
- Provide excellent customer service
- Ensure deliveries are complete and accurate
- Maintain a polite demeanor and ensure positive interactions with all employees and customers
