About The Position
EnergyUnited is seeking a responsible and safety-minded Part-Time Courier to join their Operations Services team. This role is crucial for keeping the Cooperative moving by delivering materials, packages, documents, and other important items between EnergyUnited locations and external sites. The ideal candidate enjoys staying on-the-go, working independently, and being a reliable team member.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with an excellent driving record.
- A dependable, safety-focused, and member-service mindset.
Nice To Haves
- Previous courier, package delivery, or over-the-road driving experience.
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Responsibilities
- Safely pick up and deliver materials, supplies, mail, packages, and documents between EnergyUnited locations and external sites.
- Keep deliveries organized, secure, accurate, and on schedule.
- Verify delivery information and obtain signatures when required.
- Take FedEx packages to the local drop-box location.
- Assist with sorting cash receipts in the remittance area.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and keep the assigned vehicle clean, fueled, and ready for the road.
- Communicate vehicle or delivery concerns promptly.
- Assist with sorting mail and delivering interoffice materials when not on delivery runs.
- Follow all traffic, safety, and Cooperative requirements.
