About The Position

Sentara Health is currently seeking a Full Time, rotating shift Courier based out of Virginia Beach, VA. Including some weekends. Will need to be available for all shifts with weekend rotations once per month. Picks up and delivers various items such as deposits, medications, equipment, supplies, x-ray films, lab specimens, letters, marketing materials and packages. Required to operate vehicle safely, keeps vehicle clean and well maintained; maintain vehicle safety logs and submit requests for vehicle maintenance/repairs in a timely manner. Tracks lab specimens, reports, supplies and all barcoded items.

Requirements

High School diploma, or Equivalent
Driver License
1 year Courier experience in lieu of High School Education

Responsibilities

Picks up and delivers various items such as deposits, medications, equipment, supplies, x-ray films, lab specimens, letters, marketing materials and packages.
Operate vehicle safely.
Keeps vehicle clean and well maintained.
Maintain vehicle safety logs and submit requests for vehicle maintenance/repairs in a timely manner.
Tracks lab specimens, reports, supplies and all barcoded items.
