Courier: On-Call and Part-Time
About The Position
Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing a unique range of analytical testing services. This part-time, on-call Courier position involves documenting, packaging, and transporting samples in accordance with project-specific plans. The role requires maintaining quality control, adhering to health and safety policies, and following technical instructions. Responsibilities may include long-distance and night driving, with routes potentially extending into major cities like New York City, Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh, not exceeding 250 miles from Lancaster, PA. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid state issued driver’s license to drive delivery vehicles is required as an employee with driving responsibilities.
- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle
- Must be able to use Smartphone.
- Must be willing and able to drive long distances (4+ hours)
- Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Responsibilities
- Documenting, packaging and transporting samples in accordance with appropriate project-specific sampling and analysis plans/protocols
- Maintaining quality control of all assignments and completing documents in a timely manner
- Following and enforcing company health and safety policies
- Following technical instructions and guidance
- Long distance driving and night driving, as needed
- Routes may include driving into New York City, Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh
- Routes will be a maximum of 250 miles from Lancaster, PA
- Additional duties as assigned
