About The Position

St. Croix Health is looking for a Courier to join our team! Hours are typically Monday 8:30am-1:00pm, Tuesday 1:30pm-5:30pm and Wednesday 1:30pm-5:30pm. This position is responsible for providing pick-up and delivery service for a variety of items at various locations.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Clean driving record
• No previous experience required
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with little direction and manage multiple demands and priorities
• Prolonged periods of sitting, driving a vehicle
• Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and reaching
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

Responsibilities

• Transport items safely to and from a variety of locations within allotted timeframe.
• Ensure proper care of items handled during transport
• Follow proper safety, environmental and infection controls methods
• Load, transport, and deliver items in a timely manner
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
• Maintains appropriate logs and records.
• Prepare reports or other documents relating to deliveries and/or use of SCRMC company vehicle
• Adhere to appropriate requirements when operating SCRMC company vehicle
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure deliveries are complete and accurate
• Maintain a polite demeanor and ensure positive interactions with all employees and customers
