About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Courier to join their team. In this position, you will be responsible for the pickup, transport, and delivery of medical specimens, lab supplies, and reports, while providing excellent service to our clients. A company vehicle is included with this position to use for the route. Additionally, for $125 per month, there is an option to take this vehicle home and use it for personal use.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Punctual with strong time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to problem solve customer issues.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months or more experience as driver or medical courier.
• 6 months or more experiences Customer service.

Responsibilities

• Coverage for various routes within Bay Area, San Jose, San Francisco area.
• Load all necessary supplies needed for the daily pickups.
• Complete daily pick up schedule in a timely manner.
• Deliver all daily picks to your branch at the end of your shift.
• Handle all specimens and lab samples in safe and efficient manner.
• Safely operate company vehicle and obey all traffic laws.
• Utilize handheld electronic device to manage daily picks up.
• Work directly with dispatcher for additional pick-ups as needed.
• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes and weather conditions as needed.
