Courier - Per Diem - Variable - Mobile Health
About The Position
Ensure day-to-day courier services for Atlantic Health System are completed in a timely and professional manner. This role requires maintaining a flexible schedule, being available for overtime, special events, and holidays as needed. The courier is responsible for completing tasks efficiently, maintaining updated courier run sheets, and adhering to professional appearance standards including wearing a full uniform with an ID badge. Daily vehicle cleaning and completion of rig check sheets are mandatory. The position involves timely clocking in and out, arriving on time for scheduled stops, and obtaining receiving signatures for all deliveries. Adherence to Atlantic Health System and Atlantic Ambulance policies and procedures, completion of required training, and maintenance of certifications and licenses are essential. Familiarity with iPhone use and basic technology is expected, along with contributing to a team environment and attending at least 50% of transportation staff meetings.
Requirements
- Must be able to maintain a flexible schedule and be available for overtime, special events and holidays as needed by the department.
- Must be in full uniform including a visible ID badge, key peg and maintain a professional appearance.
- Vehicles are to be cleaned inside and out daily.
- Rig check sheets are to be completed and turned in daily.
- Swipe in and out on time.
- Is on time for routine scheduled courier stops.
- Obtains receiving signatures for all boxes and packages.
- Adheres to all Atlantic Health System and Atlantic Ambulance Policy and Procedures.
- Completes all required training and maintains all required certifications and licenses.
- Familiar with the use of an iPhone and basic technology.
- Contributes to a team environment.
- Must attend at least 50% of all transportation staff meetings.
