About The Position

Picks up specimens from outreach clients (Doctor's offices, skilled facilities, draw station, etc.). Interacts with physicians and physicians office staff, and other clients. Performs some clerical duties (i.e. answers phones, faxing and receiving specimens). Provides marketing support to the Laboratory Outreach Program. EEO/AA/Disability/Veteran
Requirements
- High School Graduate
- Current drivers license.
- Driving record will reflect no traffic violations within last 3 years
Nice To Haves
- Courier or delivery experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Obtains specimens from physicians offices, clinic, skilled facilities, draw stations as applicable.
- Maintains supply inventory for external clients
- Is considerate, helpful and courteous to all internal and external customersl
- Maintains open communication using appropraiate chain of command
- Complies with established laboratory and hospital policies for universal precautions and safety
