About The Position

Sentara Health is currently seeking a Part Time, rotating shift Courier based out of Norfolk, VA. Including some weekends. Hours will be 10:45-7:15PM. On weekends when scheduled, hours will vary. Picks up and delivers various items such as deposits, medications, equipment, supplies, x-ray films, lab specimens, letters, marketing materials and packages. Required to operate vehicle safely, keeps vehicle clean and well maintained; maintain vehicle safety logs and submit requests for vehicle maintenance/repairs in a timely manner. Tracks lab specimens, reports, supplies and all barcoded items.

Requirements

High School diploma, or Equivalent Certification/Licensure
Driver License
1 year Courier experience in lieu of High School Education

Responsibilities

Picks up and delivers various items such as deposits, medications, equipment, supplies, x-ray films, lab specimens, letters, marketing materials and packages.
Operate vehicle safely.
Keeps vehicle clean and well maintained.
Maintain vehicle safety logs and submit requests for vehicle maintenance/repairs in a timely manner.
Tracks lab specimens, reports, supplies and all barcoded items.
